The wool is merino at 17 microns. That number matters more than it sounds. At this fineness the fibre stops behaving like ordinary wool and starts behaving like cashmere. No itch, no scratchy collar. You can wear this one straight against the skin.
At 230 grams the knit has real weight to it. It hangs properly, keeps its shape at the elbows, and never clings. Merino handles temperature by itself, so the polo that felt right at breakfast still feels right in a warm restaurant at nine.
Works with navy, brown, taupe, denim. Hard to get wrong.
