Terms and conditions
These general terms and conditions apply to all orders placed through the Le Son webshop and form the basis of the agreement between you as the customer and us as the company.
Article 1 – Definitions
In these terms and conditions, the following definitions apply:
• Entrepreneur: the natural or legal person offering products remotely to consumers; in this case: Le Son.
• Consumer: the natural person not acting in the course of a profession or business who enters into a distance contract with Le Son.
• Distance contract: an agreement whereby, within the framework of a system organized by Le Son for distance selling, only remote communication technology is used up to and including the conclusion of the contract.
• Reflection period: the period within which the consumer may exercise their right of withdrawal.
• Right of withdrawal: the consumer's option to cancel the contract within the reflection period.
• Durable data carrier: any tool – including email – that allows the consumer or entrepreneur to store information in a way that enables future access and unchanged reproduction.

Article 3 – Applicability

These general terms and conditions apply to every offer from Le Son and to every distance contract between Le Son and the consumer.

Before the contract is concluded, the text of these general terms and conditions will be made available to the consumer. If this is not reasonably possible, it will be indicated how the conditions can be viewed and that they will be sent free of charge upon request.

Situations not covered by these terms should be interpreted ‘in the spirit’ of these general terms and conditions.
Article 4 – The Offer

Le Son aims to describe the offered products as completely and accurately as possible.

Every offer includes sufficient information to make it clear to the consumer what rights and obligations are attached.

Obvious mistakes or errors in the offer do not bind Le Son.

The offer is non-binding and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.
Article 5 – The Agreement

The agreement is concluded at the moment the consumer accepts the offer and complies with the stated conditions.

After the agreement is concluded, the consumer receives a confirmation email with order details.

Le Son takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the electronic transfer of data and ensures a secure web environment.

If the contract is concluded electronically, Le Son will implement proper safeguards for data transfer and website security.
Article 6 – Right of Withdrawal

The consumer has the right to withdraw from the contract within 30 days after receiving the order, without stating any reason.

During the reflection period, the consumer must handle the product and packaging with care. The product may only be unpacked or used to the extent necessary to determine its nature, characteristics, and functioning.

If the consumer exercises the right of withdrawal, they must notify Le Son via email within the reflection period.

The consumer must return the product as soon as possible, but no later than 330 days after notification.

Le Son will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days of receiving the return, provided the product is received in good condition.
Article 7 – Costs in Case of Withdrawal

The return shipping costs are borne by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed.

If the consumer has paid an amount, Le Son will refund it as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal.
Article 8 – Exclusion of Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal is excluded for products:
• That cannot be returned for hygiene or health reasons and whose seal has been broken;
• That are specially made or personalized at the consumer's request;
• That, by their nature, are not suitable for return.
Article 9 – Price

The prices of the offered products include VAT and exclude any shipping costs, unless stated otherwise.

During the validity period mentioned in the offer, product prices will not be increased, except for changes due to VAT rate adjustments.
Article 10 – Payment

Payment must be made in full and in advance using the available payment methods.

The consumer is obligated to report any inaccuracies in provided payment details to Le Son immediately.

In case of non-payment, Le Son has the right to suspend or cancel delivery.
Article 11 – Delivery and Execution

Le Son takes the utmost care in receiving and fulfilling orders.

Delivery takes place at the address provided by the consumer. Le Son is not liable for incorrect address details.

Orders will be delivered as soon as possible, but no later than 30 days, unless agreed otherwise.

If delivery is delayed or if an order cannot be fulfilled, the consumer will be notified within 30 days. In such cases, the consumer may cancel the order free of charge.

In case of cancellation, Le Son will refund the amount paid within 14 days.

If delivery of a product is impossible, Le Son will make every effort to offer a comparable alternative.

The risk of damage or loss rests with Le Son until the moment of delivery to the consumer or a designated third party.

If the courier confirms delivery but the consumer claims not to have received the order, Le Son will investigate the matter with the delivery partner. If no fault is found and the order is officially marked as delivered, the consumer will receive a digital gift card equal to the order amount. This card is only valid at Le Son and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Article 12 – Complaints

Complaints about the execution of the agreement must be submitted clearly and completely via email within 7 days of discovery.

Le Son will respond to the complaint within 14 days. If more time is needed, the consumer will receive an acknowledgment and an estimated response time.

All complaints are handled confidentially. Le Son strives for a fair solution for both parties.
Article 13 – Liability

Le Son is not liable for indirect damages, including consequential loss, lost profits, missed savings, or business interruption.

Le Son's liability is always limited to the amount of the order for the relevant product.
Article 14 – Applicable Law

All agreements between Le Son and the consumer are governed exclusively by Dutch law.

Disputes should preferably be resolved through mutual consultation. If this is not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
