Everyone owns something navy. Very few of them feel like this.
The wool is merino at 17 microns, the fineness normally kept for cashmere blends. It means no itch, no scratch at the collar, nothing you need a shirt underneath for. In navy the fine gauge does something else too: it gives the colour depth instead of flatness, so it reads closer to a tailored knit than a jumper.
230 grams is the sweet spot. Enough weight to hang cleanly and hold its shape, light enough that you keep it on indoors. Merino regulates itself, so it stays comfortable from a cold morning to a warm room.
Try it with the beige wool trouser for contrast, or navy on navy if you want something more deliberate.
