Most trousers are either comfortable or well cut. These are 97% wool with 3% elastane, which is why they manage both.
The details are the ones you find on tailored trousers and almost never at this price. Side adjusters instead of belt loops, so the waist sits exactly where you want it. Flat front. Jetted back pockets with a button. Slanted side pockets. And an after dinner split at the waistband, which is a small kindness after a long evening.
Beige is the one to buy first. It carries navy, brown and off-white knitwear equally well and reads instantly summer.
